Smart Closure Feature

In version 2.3 we introduced a new feature called "Smart Closure".

What is Smart Closure?

When enabled, the bot will look for additional opportunities to close trades during the recovery process. For example, when the recovery process starts the trader might have 10 total losing trades. Over the course of the recovery process, price moves and now 5 of those orders are back in profit. If enabled, smart closure will allow the bot to use the profit from the 5 orders to close as much as the losing position as possible.

If the feature is disabled, the bot will stay the course and continue the recovery operation as per usual.

What is the risk with smart closure?

The smart closure feature will break the hedge, as the recovery volume will now change. Use this at your own risk.

Smart Closure Settings

Smart closure: enable/disable the smart closure feature
Smart closure threshold, percentage: the percentage required to enact smart closure. For example if this input is set to 50, then the profit from the orders must close at least 50% of the total losing order volume before the bot will enact smart closure.
